Personality
Dee is of Chaotic Neutral alignemnt and tends to be more of "free spirit" than anything else. At the start of her quest with the party Dee was greedy, hedonistic and didn't work well with others. Her primary concerns were getting ahead and while she wouldn't directly harm someone for what she wanted, she didn't mind cheating them out of it either. Dee enjoyed bagging and she didn't ever have a problem making her opinions about things known. Because of recent events in Dee's life she has under gone a little bit of a transformation. Dee is still at the core the same person but has become more reserved and helpful. She's learned to care for others and not be so selfish, all of this while keeping her "free spirit" like demeanor.

By the same right she's stopped drinking as much and scaled back her smoking, although she still loves a cigarette. She is taking on the mantle of a Swashbuckler, specializing in fighting to protect those close to her.
Appereance
Dee stand's five foot five and is about 120 pounds in weight. She has dark brown hair that is usually styled in ringlet curls and falls to the middle of her back, pale white skin and green eyes. Dee has a curvaeous body type, but the feature she takes the most pride in is her breasts and she's always trying to show them off. Besides that, Dee is very particular about her hair and hates to get it messed up or wet with out good reason. Other distinguishing features on Dee include a lip ring on the right side of her mouth (which she often removes) and Dee's regular clothes (under the armor) are a low v-neck shirt that's brown in color, and a rough leather skirt. She's also either wearing boots or heeled boots.
Early Life
Dee was born into a wealthy family far to the North. Her parents, Aeron and Hallie Saint John owned a large farm. Aeron acted as a professional for the Magistrate's office and also had his hand in some trade. Dee was the middle child of four, besides her there was one boy, Stroud, and two other girls, Penelope and Ashley. Dee's early home life was normal and mostly happy. She spent most of her day either playing with her siblings or at her studies. On more than one occasion she went with her father on one of his trips and because of this she learned to love travel and the wandering lifestyle. Her favorite means of travel was boat.
Despite her sizable family, she was very fond of her time alone. Sometimes in the middle of the day she would sneak off into the woods with a book or pen and paper and just hide away. When she was 11 years old she took one such trip out into the woods only to be found by bandits and taken from her home. The lifestyle of the bandits was a complete contrast to her old life. She was subjected to many things that no child that age should be. The bandits considered her little more than properly and took to treating her however they pleased. She was in their company for almost a year before someone was able to help her escape.
When she was 12 years old, a pair of traveling Paladins rescued her, although one of them died. The younger surviving of the two, Barbaneth kept Dee with him and cared for her as they traveled around together. He was probably the first person in her recent memory that she could call a friend. It was Barbaneth who taught her how to fight and tried to help her to, despite her trials, realize that there is still good in the world. But a Paladin's life is dangerous and some time after the pair begin traveling together, Barbaneth was forced to leave Dee at an Orphan House.
Dee, the Adventurer
Despite the influence that Barbaneth had over her life, Dee was placed far from the influence of men like the Paladin. Under the care of the people who ran the Orphan house Dee was taught that things really weren't fair and that people weren't actually good or meant to be trusted. From her time with the criminals and bandits before she had seen that men would do anything for a beautiful woman and she figured that was the best way for her to make a stand against the unfair treatement. When she left the Orphan House at sixteen, she found that she could make a decent living just gambling, dressing right and being in the right places. Her upbringing helped her slip in and out of wealthy social circles and she would hunt for men and women there to exploit.
Sometimes her plans went brilliantly, other times she was nearly beheaded or chased from town for what she had done. She would take odd jobs from time to time, chase someone down for a few gold coins or try and find some treasure that she had overheard from the patrons at the bar. But those little outings usually ended less fortunately than she would have liked. Dee has a pennance for jewels and fine things and she loves treasure and shiny things even more, which is usually just the thing that gets her into trouble. Over the years Dee also gained a fondness for drinking, partying, gambling, sex and when pushed to it, fighting. She managed to retain traces of her early aristocratic upbringing, which she is able to turn on and off like a switch in social situations.
Dee also earned a name for herself in many of the towns she visited because of her outlandish schemes and drunken escipades. In one town she gambled away seven hundred gold and was chased from town by a group of crediters. Another time she was forced to flee town after sleeping with the wife of a wealthy land owner. In one of her infamous drunken tirades, Dee wandered into the lair of a Necromancer, whom she was seeing, and accidentially burned it to the ground while attempting to "invent a new kind of liquor".
How She Came to Meet the Party
Dee had been in a town drinking and gambling, as she usually did. When she happened across a familiar Paladin. Being drunk, she tried to seduce him. But he was married so he turned her down right off and told her that he was actually already taken with a wife who he was in town visiting. He offered to return Dee to her home so she took him up on the offer. Before she was home she had passed out and when she came to, Dee found herself face to face with the Paladin's wife, Madeleine. Madeleine had heard from others at the bar what Dee had been doing and set out to find her. Dee denied having done anything, but really couldn't remember what she had actually done on the previous night. To avoid further trouble, Dee skipped town as fast as she could. But last she heard, Madeleine was looking for her and blamed her for running off with the Paladin. Dee traveled as far south as she could and soon found herself in the city of Letrai where she planned to repeat her process.
Hung over and lounging on the steps of a Church, the party comes across Dee. She offers a hand and sword to the group by going off to help find wounded and bring them back. What she really wanted to do was search for any left behind trinkets that might not be missed. She managed to help out some, saving a baby and a puppy. And she even found what she thought might have been a treasure map. She hid the maps in her shirt and the puppy continued to follow her even after she departed. When the group was attacked by skeletons, Dee rescued the puppy and its followed her every since. A trident was left behind and Dee was very adament about leaving the thing behind.
Relationships with Party Members
While Dee is outgoing enough, she isn't very good at relating to other's long term but she is learning to work with others over time. Probably the first member of the party that she became close with was Orseth. She gets along with Orseth and he's usually very candid with her. She's actually come to regard him as something of a brother figure. Elena and Dee are close, Dee feels a need to protect Elena (despite Elena being a better fighter) and she pretty much goes with Elena into anything that there is to be done. The two shared a very funny shopping spree back in Stienroad. Luemus is a bit more stoic than the rest of the group, despite that Dee has made a habit of pestering him and even poking fun at his animal forms. Luemus has retalliated by using magic to dump water all over her. Arjun was the first member to join the party after Dee, he at first seemed to have some interest in Dee, but she quickly warded him off. As of late she really hasn't spent much time around him.
Madeleine and Dee have somewhat of an odd relationship. The two started off hating each other, even getting into a fight and ended up becoming pretty good friends later, although they occasionally still go at it. Sebastian seems to treat Dee in somewhat of a playful manner, she and Sebastian have spent time planning strategies and while the two aren't super close, they have a mutual respect it seeems. Asya is of a like demeanor as Dee about many things and the two seem to have an understanding between them and get along rather well, although much of their time has been spent in a turbulent war zone.
Wiglaf, Madeleine's husband turned out to be Barbaneth, the Paladin who had saved Dee. As such Wiglaf is watchful of Dee and tries to look out for her. He doesn't seem to talk to her much, but when they do its like the two friends never parted. Ginny and Dieren really haven't had much time to speak yet, although both of them seem to regard her in some formal fashion which she is kind of unused to. Xeterd and Dee don't get along, at all and she has had at least two run ins with him and isn't very trusting of him. Recently she has backed off of him because there is a much bigger conflict going on around them.
Change of Heart
A combination of actually having friends and subjecting herself to more self destructive behavior caused Dee to have ab it of a change of heart after reaching the Elf city. Shortly after that, Dee was attacked by a spirit in the forest for her cigarettes and the threat they posed to the forest's safety. She lost much of her ego (CHA) and was foreced to count on the others to help her. Once her ego was restored, she actually seemed to have become the kinder person that she is now. She's still got a bit of her spunk, but its not quite as biting as before.
